School Choice Application Window
The Two Rivers School District is now accepting applications from parents who wish to take advantage of the Arkansas School Choice law for the 2015-16 school year. The program was established to give parents and students options with respect to where the students attend public school and to enable students to attend public schools in a district they do not reside in. The following restrictions apply: All applications must be filed by MAY 1st. School Districts may only loose up to 3% of a number determined by the Arkansas Department of Education. Applications for school choice must be filed in the nonresident district the student wishes to attend. The nonresident district is required to forward all applications to the students home district. The superintendent of the nonresident district shall notify the parent and resident district in writing by July 1 as to whether the students application has been accepted or rejected.
The Class of 2016 and their sponsors would like to thank all of the parents, community members, and faculty and staff members that assisted with prom and after prom. Your help with donations, chaperoning, set up, and cleaning made the occasion special. Your help was greatly appreciated.
