Two Rivers will be hosting Swamp Fest on Saturday, October 29th from 12:00 am until 3:00 pm. in the Two Rivers Cafeteria.
Activities will include a bouncy house, cake walk, coke walk, coke ring toss, balloon animals, cupcake decorating, dunking booth, minute-to-win-it, football throw, basketball shootout, concession stand, jail, cotton candy, baggo, and more!
All stations will take tickets. Tickets may be bought at swamp fest for 50 cents each. Please make plans to attend this afternoon of fun at TRHS!
Elementary Job Listings
- The Two Rivers School District is seeking applications for a classified paraprofessional for the 2016-17 school year. Please fill out and return an application to the elementary office as soon as possible. A classified application can be printed from the district website.
Two Rivers Flu Clinic
The Two Rivers School Flu clinic will be held on Tuesday, October 25th. We will be starting at the elementary then finishing the day at the high school.
Students received packets October 14th. These need to be completed, signed and returned no later than October 21st. All parents are encouraged to allow your children to take advantage of this FREE flu vaccination.
There will only be shots this year no mist is available.
EAST Night Out
The Two Rivers High School EAST program will be hosting EAST Night Out on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 from 5:30pm-7:00pm.
This is an Open House event to showcase the various technology and projects of the Two Rivers EAST program.
We would like to invite all parents, Two Rivers administration and faculty/staff, community members, and business owners to attend this event.
Refreshments will be provided. This is a come and go event. Please stop by and enjoy the evening.
September Students of the Month
Two Rivers High School 5th-12th building is proud of our Student of the Month Program. Good citizenship displayed by students is important and appreciated by the faculty and administration at Two Rivers High School. Students who exhibit the characteristics of good citizenship such as working well with others with a cooperative attitude, exhibiting good behavior, displaying leadership qualities and serving as role models for their peers will be considered as a Student of the Month.
One student from each grade 5th-12th will be honored each month as a Student of the Month. Students selected will be taken to lunch by their principal on a selected day. These students will also receive a certificate and have their pictures in the local newspaper for being chosen as Student of the Month.
We are adding one additional award beginning this month. The Plainview Superette is sponsoring an academic student of the month. One student will be selected from 5th-8th grades and one student from 9th-12th grades. These students will receive a coupon for a milk shake and a pizza at the Plainview Superette and also get to go eat lunch with the principals. The winners for September are Gabby Ellis 12th grade and Elizabeth Britton 8th grade.

5th - 12th After School Tutoring
Two Rivers 5th-12th grade building will begin the after school tutoring program on Monday, September 19, 2016. Tutoring is offered on Monday’s through Thursday’s from 3:30 PM until 5:30 PM each day. We encourage any student who thinks they would benefit from the after school tutoring to attend one day a week or four days a week.

Two Rivers School District is once again pleased to announce parents of Kindergarten through 12th grade students will only need to supply backpacks for their children. All other school supplies will be provided by the district.
