"This is what we do," Superintendent Jim Loyd told those attending. "If you came yesterday or return tomorrow you would see the same examples of technology based teaching and learning."

The Two Rivers School District is now accepting applications from parents who wish to take advantage of the Arkansas School Choice law for the 2016-17 school year. The program was established to give parents and students options with respect to where the students attend public school and to enable students to attend public schools in a district they do not reside in.

The following restrictions apply:  All applications must be filed by May 1st. School Districts may only lose up to 3% of a number determined by the Arkansas Department of Education. Applications for school choice must be filed in the nonresident district the student wishes to attend. The nonresident district is required to forward all applications to the student's home district. The superintendent of the nonresident district shall notify the parents and resident district in writing by July 1 as to whether the student's application has been accepted or rejected.
