Two Rivers Elementary has decided to hold a Read-A-Thon this year! Our school Read-A-Thon begins on Tuesday April 8, 2025 and is sure to be a fun and exciting event. This week we will send home instructions on how to activate your reader's personal page. This is where you will be able to view and record their progress.
We understand that your time is valuable. We also know that providing the best education for your child is important. That's why we are encouraging everyone to activate their student's Read-A-Thon account as soon as possible. The instructions are straightforward, making it quick and hassle-free, and it should take less than 5 minutes of your time.

Today Mrs. Albright’s Econ/Personal Finance students played a budgeting game using M&Ms to help them make purchasing decisions. Students learned how to work within their budget and how to make adjustments when “life happens".
This was a fun (and tasty) way to kick off our Personal Finance unit!

Our Gator Showcase has proven to be a valuable opportunity, connecting local businesses with talented candidates, our very own Two Rivers High School Seniors.
In this unique approach to a career fair, students take center stage by showcasing their skills and accomplishments directly to potential employers. Instead of the traditional model where employers set up booths, our students will be at the forefront, marketing themselves to businesses
Today our TRHS Spotlight is on Mrs. Harrington.
Mrs. Harrington is always working, always looking for ways to get her students help, and even uses her prep period some days to work with her 8th grade students during the week to give them the opportunity for interventions because she cannot get them during RTI.
She has really taken hold of the vision around here and we are proud of her determination and excitement.

Students in Mrs. Albright's US History class kicked off their Civil Rights unit by creating vision boards for different Civil Rights leaders. Students were able to bridge the gap between the present and the past by seeing how their leaders' activism still affects us today.

Students in Food Safety & Nutrition learned how to make homemade pizza.
Students in Mrs. Blamey’s Cybersecurity class are learning to verbally communicate HOW TO DRAW a matching picture without looking at what their partner is drawing. This is a fundamental step in learning to code software and the kids had a lot of fun seeing how close their picture matched with their drawing partner.
